18 September 2009 - Mayor of London's Ambassador for Youth attends Alone in London event

We were delighted that James Cleverly, the Mayor of London's Ambassador for Youth spoke at our event in City Hall this week to launch a new schools DVD and resource pack developed by Alone in London.

Ail Event'Alone in London – Behind Closed Doors’ will raise awareness among young people of the realities and causes of homelessness; make them aware of the dangers of running away from home; enable them to develop skills to deal with family conflict; and find out where they can go to for help and advice when they can’t cope.

The short film and accompanying schools pack is a result of Alone in London’s homelessness prevention programme and will be available free to secondary schools across London.
