Alone in London was set up by volunteers and they continue to play a vital role in our mission to support young people and reduce homelessness.

Volunteering with Alone in London Volunteers receive a full induction, high quality training, one-to-one supervision from experienced staff and are reimbursed their travel and lunch expenses.

Volunteers usually commit for two or three days per week, between 4 and 6 hours per day and stay with us for between 6 and 12 months.

We try to be as flexible as possible in arranging volunteering around any other commitments people might have like children, study or part-time work.
For an informal chat about volunteering and to find out which opportunities are currently available please get in touch with the Volunteer Service Manager on 020 7447 3192 or email volunteering@circle.org.uk.

"My time with Alone In London has been so valuable. Volunteering helped me realise what many young people are up against. Supporting them is not easy. But all the difficulties you face are worth it when you can help someone get themselves on the right track" - Brenda Cuffy, Advice Volunteer

The Volunteer Service would like to thank 29th May 1961 Charitable Trust for their generous support.

The Volunteer Service was awarded the Investing in Volunteers quality mark in October 2007 and is signed up to London’s Volunteer Management Charter.
